Hey all! Just a quick shout out to let you know that I’ll be showing and selling my work alongside 14 other talented artists this saturday in Berkeley, CA! The show is going to be from 10am-4pm at the Sticky Art Lab on University, which is a great new space that hosts art and craft classes for kids & families. I’ll have lots of gift-able things for sale, including cards, prints, and my original coloring book. Come on down to get a start on your holiday shopping! Shop local! 
Just a quick update this week. 14 more pages of sketches, this week all in pen. It’s nice to draw in pen sometimes because it forces me to be more decisive with my lines and think about what I’m doing as I go. I think the results are very elegant. A New month, and 12 more pages of sketches! I finished out an old sketchbook and am working in a new one now. Good feeling! I didn’t quite get to that location sketching I intended, but I did spend a very inspiring day out at the #Occupy Oakland General Strike Wednesday. Despite how the mainstream media might spin it, there is something amazing about walking peacefully alongside thousands of other people who want to create positive change in their communities. I highly recommend checking out your local #Occupy location, talking to your neighbors, and seeing what its’ all about yourself.
Other than that, I’ve got my end-of-the-year finish-up-projects and get-organized jones going on. It’s one month closer to the end of the year, and the rain is here too. The weather report says the temp dropped about 15 degrees since last week. Time to cuddle up with the cats, hunker down, and draw some more! To see the latest sketches for this week, click HERE.
